Lecture, two and one half hours; discussion, one hour. Introduction to Earth, planetary, and space sciences through film. Study of fundamental forces that shape Earth and other planetary bodies. Examination of how scientists mitigate natural disasters, solve environmental problems, and enable space exploration. P/NP or letter grading.
