By instructor
| Instructor | Predicted | Raw | n | Terms | A range |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| AVILA, ERIC R | 3.73 | 3.74 | 673 | 3 | 82% |

| VAVRECK, LYNN | 3.79 | 3.79 | 448 | 2 | 86% |
“Predicted” is shrunk toward the course average, which is itself shrunk toward the department — so an instructor with a handful of students sits near the course mean rather than topping the list.
