dibs measures outcomes: grades, seats, how fast a class fills. For what a class is like to sit in, BruinWalk has the reviews.

From the registrar's catalog

dibs has not read the registrar's description for this course.

Why there is none, and where the text is

It reads them for general education courses only, so this says nothing about the course. Any section below links out to the registrar, where the catalog text is, and that text is also where a prerequisite the structured list does not carry would be written.

Sections in Fall 2026

Seat counts as of . The registrar publishes hourly and dibs reads what it can each hour, so a row can be older than that.

Seats over time in Fall 2026

How each lecture has filled since dibs first saw it.

A dot is a reading where something moved: the seat count, the status, or the waitlist.

What a flat run means, and where a line starts

Flat between dots means it did not drift, it held and then jumped, and a line starts when dibs first saw that lecture rather than reaching back before it existed. Where a lecture has never moved, or has only two or three readings, there is no line, only its readings as ticks.

Unchanged over about 4 hours

Both readings say 0 seats.

4 Sep 06:404 Sep 10:42
5 hours plotted. dibs read 4 of them and did not look in 1.Seats from 4 Sep 06:40 to 4 Sep 10:42, 0 to 0. No line is drawn, because nothing moved. Where an hour dibs did read sits between two readings, the count held: that is checked and unchanged, rather than nobody having looked. For 1 hour dibs was keeping a record and did not reach this section. Where the drawing is faint or broken, that never means the readings are doubtful. It means the stretch between them is unaccounted for.
dibs is still being built.

A reading and an hourly record are different things, and most charts here hold more of the second missing than present. dibs has taken readings of a section since long before it began keeping an hour-by-hour log of when it looked, so the empty stretches are dibs saying it was not keeping that log yet, not that it looked and found nothing. That is the age of the record and not a fault.

The reading is live and separate from that. dibs runs an hourly pass over the whole catalog, and a section somebody is watching goes to the front of it. A section nobody is watching waits for the pass and can wait longer than an hour behind it, so the last reading on a chart is sometimes older than the pass.

Reading more often cannot make an answer fresher than its source. The registrar republishes about hourly whatever dibs does, so every duration here is an upper bound over a one hour band rather than a moment.

dibs sends only on an opening it can confirm and holds the ones it cannot, knowingly missing some seats rather than guessing at one, so a watch that has stayed quiet is usually nothing confirmable to send rather than an alert that failed. dibs is not the fastest way to hear that a seat opened and does not claim to be.
