Seats are held for entering students who enroll through New Student Orientation sessions beginning July 2, 2026. New student restrictions will be lifted on September 15, 2026 at 8 a.m. Upon satisfactorily completing Clusters 70A, 70B, and 70CW, students receive credit for the following requirements: two Life Sciences GEs (one with lab), two Physical Sciences GEs (one with lab). Upon satisfactorily completing Clusters 70A, 70B, and 70CW, students will fulfill the Writing II requirement. Students must receive a grade of D- or better each quarter to receive general education credit and continue in the course. To receive credit for Writing II, students must satisfy Writing I by the end of the year, successfully complete fall and winter quarters, and earn a grade of C or better in spring quarter. There will be two MANDATORY midterm examinations from 6 to 7:50 p.m. on the following Thursdays: October 15 and November 19, 2026.3

How readings and alerts work
