Seats, time, final and grades

Seats

Closed by the department.

The department has not published seat counts for this class.

Its lecture reads closed by the department (-): you attend both, so this seat is not one you can take while that holds. There is no waitlist either, so the only way in is somebody dropping the lecture.

Meets

TR 12:00pm-3:50pm, TR 12:00pm-3:50pm

Final

None on the page dibs read

No exam time on the page dibs read. That is not the registrar saying there is no final.

Grades

Watching is the one thing here that needs an account, because an alert needs somewhere to go. Everything else on this page works signed out.

Put this class on a board

A board is one quarter you are drafting, so it needs an account to live in. Signing in brings you straight back to this page, with this class still in front of you.

Before you can enroll

Tell dibs what you have already taken and this line will say which of these you have. Your list.

From the registrar limited until second pass

Any student attempting to save or sell a spot for another student is violating Student Conduct Code 102.23d and may be referred to the Office of the Dean of Students. Enrollment is limited to departmental majors on the priority and first enrollment passes. Any student may enroll on the second pass, space permitting. Students must put themselves on the wait list during first pass. Final enrollment is finalized during the first week of the term. Enrollment cannot take place during the priority enrollment pass for this course. Graduating seniors in their final quarter who did not secure a spot on the wait list should e-mail ugrad@chem.ucla.edu for enrollment consideration. PTE numbers are NOT available; do not contact the instructor for a PTE number. IF YOU ARE MORE THAN 15 MINUTES LATE TO LABORATORY DURING THE FIRST TWO WEEKS OF THE TERM, YOUR SPACE WILL BE REASSIGNED AND YOU MUST DROP THE COURSE YOURSELF. For the remainder of the term if you are more than 30 minutes late, you may NOT be able to complete the current laboratory and may not have the opportunity to make up the missed work, resulting in a nonpassing grade for that experiment.

This limit ends at an enrollment pass rather than on a date, and dibs does not hold the date second pass opens for Fall 2026, so it cannot say whether that pass has come. When it does, the registrar writes who may enroll then as “Any student may enroll on the second pass, space permitting.” So dibs cannot tell whether this class is open to you today, and it is not counting it as one you can take: your enrollment appointment on MyUCLA is what settles it.

Restrictions read 4 days ago. dibs re-reads these slowly because they rarely change; watch the section and it moves to every 6 hours.

What students say

dibs measures outcomes: grades, seats, how fast it fills. For what the class is actually like to sit in, BruinWalk has the reviews.

dibs has not read this course’s reviews, so it cannot say what kind of work it sets. That is dibs not having looked. It is not a course without papers or exams, and the reviews linked below are the answer until dibs catches up.

Will it still be here

The department has not published seat counts for this class, so there is nothing to plot. dibs records when it read the class, not a count it was never given. Last read 1 Oct 15:34.

How readings and alerts work

A reading and an hourly record are different things, and most charts here hold more of the second missing than present. dibs has taken readings of a section since long before it began keeping an hour-by-hour log of when it looked, so the empty stretches are dibs saying it was not keeping that log yet, not that it looked and found nothing. That is the age of the record and not a fault.

Seat counts show the last successful read, not live availability. Refreshes can be delayed by request limits or upstream interruptions. Watched sections receive priority, but an hourly update for every section is not guaranteed.

The registrar can change a seat count between our checks. Alerts depend on dibs detecting an opening and completing delivery; a quiet watch does not prove that no seat opened. Check the registrar before enrolling.
