EC ENGR 3 · Lab 1C
Introduction to Electrical Engineering
Seats, time, final and grades
Seats
Closed.
24 of 24 · 2 over enrolled.
Its lecture reads closed (216 of 216 · 15 over enrolled): you attend both, so this seat is not one you can take while that holds. There is no waitlist either, so the only way in is somebody dropping the lecture.
Meets
T 8:00am-9:50am
This discussion only. You also attend Lec 1.
Final
Mon 7 Dec, 3:00pm to 6:00pm
One exam for the whole class, Los Angeles time.
Read 3 days ago.
Grades
1,542 letter grades, everyone who has taught EC ENGR 3.
Read 17 minutes ago. This is a recent reading, not a live seat count.
dibs has seen this section open 4 times since 18 August. The last time was 27 August. 2 of those were readings where the capacity figure moved and the enrolled count did not, so dibs could not tell whether a seat existed and did not send an alert.
Watching is the one thing here that needs an account, because an alert needs somewhere to go. Everything else on this page works signed out.
Put this class on a board
A board is one quarter you are drafting, so it needs an account to live in. Signing in brings you straight back to this page, with this class still in front of you.
Before you can enroll
Registrar's Restrictions cell, read 3 days ago: "Undergraduate Computer Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electrical and Computer Engineering Majors".
From the registrar
Students who enroll in upper-division courses offered by the Samueli School without completing the requisites are subject to disenrollment after the second class meeting. If necessary, consult with an OASA counselor through MyUCLA Message Center. Discussion section attendance is optional.
Restrictions read 3 days ago. dibs re-reads these slowly because they rarely change; watch the section and it moves to every 6 hours.

What students say
dibs measures outcomes: grades, seats, how fast it fills. For what the class is actually like to sit in, BruinWalk has the reviews.
What the work looks like
- Exams mentioned, no number given, said by 6 reviewers
- Quizzes mentioned, no number given, said by 7 reviewers
- Problem sets mentioned, no number given, said by 8 reviewers
- Projects mentioned, no number given, said by 8 reviewers
- Labs mentioned, no number given, said by 4 reviewers
Read from 28 reviews 17 days ago. dibs counts only what a review actually states, so a kind of work nobody mentioned is absent rather than zero.
Will it still be here
high risk chance of closing before your enrollment pass.
Final enrollment per term from four years of grade data. Summer excluded: different population, different pass structure.

Seats over time
Filled by 2 over about 2 months
4 times reopenedA dot is a reading where something moved: the seat count, the status, or the waitlist. Flat between dots joins recorded counts; changes between reads may be missed. The line starts when dibs first saw this section rather than reaching back before it existed. The last one is the last time dibs read this section, moved or not: 17 minutes ago.

How readings and alerts work
A reading and an hourly record are different things, and most charts here hold more of the second missing than present. dibs has taken readings of a section since long before it began keeping an hour-by-hour log of when it looked, so the empty stretches are dibs saying it was not keeping that log yet, not that it looked and found nothing. That is the age of the record and not a fault.
Seat counts show the last successful read, not live availability. Refreshes can be delayed by request limits or upstream interruptions. Watched sections receive priority, but an hourly update for every section is not guaranteed.
The registrar can change a seat count between our checks. Alerts depend on dibs detecting an opening and completing delivery; a quiet watch does not prove that no seat opened. Check the registrar before enrolling.

Lab 1C shares one room with Lec 1 and every other discussion under it, because that is what a student means by "my class".
Reading a room needs no account. Posting does, and it is free.
