9 of 12 enrolled.

Every meeting the registrar lists for this section.
Final
None on the page dibs read
No exam time on the page dibs read. That is not the registrar saying there is no final.
Grades
no grade history
No grade record for this section yet.
Read 4 hours ago. The latest refresh is overdue. Seats and instructors may have changed since. Check the registrar before enrolling.
dibs has seen this section open 4 times since 18 August. The last time was 28 September.
Watching is the one thing here that needs an account, because an alert needs somewhere to go. Everything else on this page works signed out.
Put this class on a board
A board is one quarter you are drafting, so it needs an account to live in. Signing in brings you straight back to this page, with this class still in front of you.
Before you can enroll
From the registrar enrollment limit
COMPARATIVE LITERATURE POLICY FOR ATTENDANCE AND LATE ENROLLMENT IN ALL 2W AND 4W CLASSES: The department will cancel your enrollment in any Comparative Literature 2W and 4W class if you do not attend at least one of the first two class meetings. After the first week of classes, wait-listed students may enroll in Comparative Literature 2W and 4W classes only with permission to enroll obtained from the instructor. Enrollment in some upper-division courses is restricted to Comparative Literature majors and minors during the first enrollment pass. Students in other majors who meet the course requisites may enroll during second pass, space permitting.
This limit ends at an enrollment pass rather than on a date, and dibs does not hold the date second pass opens for Fall 2026, so it cannot say whether that pass has come. When it does, the registrar writes who may enroll then as “Students in other majors who meet the course requisites may enroll during second pass, space permitting.” So dibs cannot tell whether this class is open to you today, and it is not counting it as one you can take: your enrollment appointment on MyUCLA is what settles it.
Restrictions read 4 days ago. dibs re-reads these slowly because they rarely change; watch the section and it moves to every 6 hours.

What students say
dibs measures outcomes: grades, seats, how fast it fills. For what the class is actually like to sit in, BruinWalk has the reviews.
dibs has not read this course’s reviews, so it cannot say what kind of work it sets. That is dibs not having looked. It is not a course without papers or exams, and the reviews linked below are the answer until dibs catches up.
Will it still be here
low risk chance of closing before your enrollment pass.
Seats over time
Nothing read since 1 Oct, 4 hours ago. Over about 1 month before that, freed 3 seats.
4 times reopenedA dot is a reading where something moved: the seat count, the status, or the waitlist. Flat between dots joins recorded counts; changes between reads may be missed. The line starts when dibs first saw this section rather than reaching back before it existed. The last one is the last time dibs read this section, moved or not, and that was 4 hours ago. It is where the line stops, not where the count is now.

How readings and alerts work
A reading and an hourly record are different things, and most charts here hold more of the second missing than present. dibs has taken readings of a section since long before it began keeping an hour-by-hour log of when it looked, so the empty stretches are dibs saying it was not keeping that log yet, not that it looked and found nothing. That is the age of the record and not a fault.
Seat counts show the last successful read, not live availability. Refreshes can be delayed by request limits or upstream interruptions. Watched sections receive priority, but an hourly update for every section is not guaranteed.
The registrar can change a seat count between our checks. Alerts depend on dibs detecting an opening and completing delivery; a quiet watch does not prove that no seat opened. Check the registrar before enrolling.
