Research for PhD Dissertation
dibs reads this section's seats hourly, like everything else, but it does not send alerts for graduate courses yet.
Seats, time, final and grades

No exam time is listed in the available section details. Check the registrar or current syllabus; this does not mean there is no final.
Grades
Put this class on a board
A board is one quarter you are drafting, so it needs an account to live in. Signing in brings you straight back to this page, with this class still in front of you.
Before you can enroll
Registrar's Restrictions cell, read 8 days ago: "Instructor Consent".
From the registrar limited until second pass
COMPARATIVE LITERATURE POLICY FOR ATTENDANCE AND LATE ENROLLMENT IN ALL 1, 2W, AND 4W CLASSES: The department will cancel your enrollment in any Comparative Literature 1, 2W, and 4W class if you do not attend at least one of the first two class meetings. After the first week of classes, wait-listed students may enroll in Comparative Literature 1, 2W, and 4W classes only with permission to enroll from the instructor. Enrollment in some upper-division courses is limited to Comparative Literature majors and minors on the first enrollment pass. Any student meeting the requisites may enroll on the second pass, space permitting.
This limit ends at an enrollment pass rather than on a date, and dibs does not hold the date second pass opens for Fall 2026, so it cannot say whether that pass has come. When it does, the registrar writes who may enroll then as “Any student meeting the requisites may enroll on the second pass, space permitting.” So dibs cannot tell whether this class is open to you today, and it is not counting it as one you can take: your enrollment appointment on MyUCLA is what settles it. This class is also Instructor Consent, which the pass does not lift.
Restrictions checked 8 days ago and may be outdated. Seat alerts are unavailable for this course. Check the registrar.
When it meets

What students say
dibs measures outcomes: grades, seats, how fast it fills. For what the class is actually like to sit in, BruinWalk has the reviews.
No reviews were listed in the BruinWalk source checked 5 days ago. Assignment details are unknown. Check the current syllabus.
Will it still be here
Not a question any more: see the notice at the top of this page.
Seats over time
Unchanged over about 2 months
Both readings say 0 of 10.
A dot is a reading. Recorded enrollment counts match, so the line is flat across the whole window: it says when dibs looked rather than what changed. The last dot is the last time dibs read this section, moved or not: 40 minutes ago.

How readings and alerts work
Dated seat counts can be available even when hourly check history is missing. Gaps do not show whether seats changed between observations.
Seat counts show the last successful read, not live availability. Refreshes can be delayed by request limits or upstream interruptions. Watched sections receive priority, but an hourly update for every section is not guaranteed.
The registrar can change a seat count between our checks. Alerts depend on dibs detecting an opening and completing delivery; a quiet watch does not prove that no seat opened. Check the registrar before enrolling.
