Seats are held for entering students who enroll through New Student Orientation sessions beginning July 2, 2026. New student restrictions will be lifted on September 15, 2026 at 8 a.m. Upon satisfactorily completing Clusters 55A, 55B, and 55CW, students receive credit for the following requirements: one Historical Analysis GE, two Social Analysis GEs, and one Physical Science without laboratory GE. Upon satisfactorily completing Clusters 55A, 55B, and 55CW, students will fulfill the Writing II requirement. Students must receive a grade of D- or better each quarter to receive general education credit and continue in the course. To receive credit for Writing II, students must satisfy Writing I by the end of the year, successfully complete fall and winter quarters, and earn a grade of C or better in spring quarter. The new-student hold ended on 15 September. This class is also First-Year Freshmen Only, which the end of the new-student hold does not lift.

Seat counts show the last successful read, not live availability. Refreshes can be delayed by request limits or upstream interruptions. Watched sections receive priority, but an hourly update for every section is not guaranteed.
The registrar can change a seat count between our checks. Alerts depend on dibs detecting an opening and completing delivery; a quiet watch does not prove that no seat opened. Check the registrar before enrolling.
