Grades

course average · 7,658 grades

7,658 letter grades, everyone who has taught CHEM 14A.

Read 38 minutes ago. dibs reads this about once an hour, so it is as current as dibs gets.

dibs has seen this section open 12 times since 17 August. The last time was about 5 hours ago. 6 of those were readings where the capacity figure moved and the enrolled count did not, so dibs could not tell whether a seat existed and did not send an alert.

Watching is the one thing here that needs an account, because an alert needs somewhere to go. Everything else on this page works signed out.

Put this class on a board

A board is one quarter you are drafting, so it needs an account to live in. Signing in brings you straight back to this page, with this class still in front of you.

From the registrar opens 15 September

Any student attempting to save or sell a spot for another student is violating Student Conduct Code 102.23d and may be referred to the Office of the Dean of Students. Seats are held for entering students who enroll through New Student Orientation sessions beginning July 2, 2026. New student restrictions will be lifted on September 15, 2026 at 8 a.m. Enrollment is limited to Anthropology (BS); Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences; Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences/Mathematics; Biochemistry; Biology; Climate Science; Cognitive Science; Computational Biology; Earth and Environmental Science; Ecology, Behavior, and Evolution; Environmental Science; Geology; Human Biology and Society; Marine Biology; Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics; Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology; Neuroscience; Nursing; Physiological Science; Psychobiology; Public Health majors and pre-majors on the priority, first, and second enrollment passes. Any student may enroll beginning September 15, 2026 at 8 a.m., space permitting. PTE numbers are NOT available; do not contact the instructor for a PTE number. Students MUST attend the lecture in which they are enrolled; random ID checking is held throughout the term. There will be two MANDATORY midterm examinations from 6 to 7:50 p.m. on Wednesday, October 28 and Thursday, November 12, 2026.

The limit applies on every enrollment pass, so there is no earlier or later pass about it, and it lifts on 15 September. dibs still counts this class as one you can take, but not until then.

What students say

dibs measures outcomes: grades, seats, how fast it fills. For what the class is actually like to sit in, BruinWalk has the reviews.

dibs has read this course’s reviews and none of them say what kind of work it sets, so dibs has nothing to show rather than a guess. Read from 176 reviews 3 days ago. That is the reviewers being silent, and not a course that sets no work.

Will it still be here

Where the line is flat across an hour dibs did read, the count held: that is checked and unchanged, rather than nobody having looked. For 11 hours dibs was keeping a record and did not reach this section. Nothing before 27 August at 06:00, where this section's record starts, has a read either way, which is 230 hours of this window. A hedged line never means the readings are doubtful. It means the stretch between them is unaccounted for.

A dot is a reading where something moved: the seat count, the status, or the waitlist. Flat between dots means it did not drift, it held and then jumped, and the line starts when dibs first saw this section rather than reaching back before it existed. The last one is the last time dibs read this section, moved or not: 38 minutes ago.
