From the registrar opens 15 September
Any student attempting to save or sell a spot for another student is violating Student Conduct Code 102.23d and may be referred to the Office of the Dean of Students. Seats are held for entering students who enroll through New Student Orientation sessions beginning July 2, 2026. New student restrictions will be lifted on September 15, 2026 at 8 a.m. Enrollment is limited to Anthropology (BS); Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences; Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences/Mathematics; Biochemistry; Biology; Climate Science; Cognitive Science; Computational Biology; Earth and Environmental Science; Ecology, Behavior, and Evolution; Environmental Science; Geology; Human Biology and Society; Marine Biology; Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics; Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology; Neuroscience; Nursing; Physiological Science; Psychobiology; Public Health majors and pre-majors on the priority, first, and second enrollment passes. Any student may enroll beginning September 15, 2026 at 8 a.m., space permitting. There will be two MANDATORY midterm examinations from 6 to 7:50 p.m. on the following Mondays: October 26 and November 23, 2026.
The limit applies to the earlier enrollment pass. Dibs still counts this class as one you can take, because it opens up, but on first pass it may not be yours yet. This class is also New Students Only, which the pass does not lift.

What students say
Dibs measures outcomes: grades, seats, how fast it fills. For what the class is actually like to sit in, BruinWalk has the reviews.
Enrollment over time
A dot is a reading where something moved: the seat count, the status, or the waitlist. The last one is the most recent sweep, moved or not. The line holds flat between dots because that is what the readings say: it did not drift, it held and then jumped. The ticks along the bottom are the hours Dibs recorded reading this section, which is how a flat run says "checked, unchanged" rather than "nobody looked". It only keeps those from 25 August, so the ruler is shorter than the line for now. Both start when Dibs did rather than reaching back before it existed.
