Seats are held for entering students who enroll through New Student Orientation sessions beginning July 2, 2026. New student restrictions will be lifted on September 15, 2026 at 8 a.m. Discussion sections 1A, 1C, and 1E are limited to junior/senior departmental majors and minors on the priority and first enrollment passes. Discussion sections 1B, 1D, and 1F are limited to junior/senior Marine Biology majors on the priority and first enrollment passes. All discussion sections are limited to departmental majors and minors on the second pass. Any student meeting the requisites may enroll beginning July 1, 2026 at 8 a.m., space permitting. The department does not use PTE numbers. Do not contact the instructors or advising office for a PTE number.
The limit applies to the earlier enrollment pass. Dibs still counts this class as one you can take, because it opens up, but on first pass it may not be yours yet. This class is also Biology; Ecology, Behavior, and Evolution; or Marine Biologymajors; or Conservation Biology or Evolutionary Medicine Minors, and New Transfers Only, which the pass does not lift.
