The Psychology Department does not use PTE numbers. Instructors and the advising office do not provide PTE numbers for Psychology courses. Seats are held for entering students who enroll through New Student Orientation sessions beginning July 2, 2026. New student restrictions will be lifted on September 15, 2026 at 8 a.m. Enrollment is limited to junior/senior departmental pre-majors and majors, Linguistics and Psychology majors, and Applied Developmental Psychology minors on the priority and first enrollment passes. Sophomore departmental pre-majors and majors, Linguistics and Psychology majors, and Applied Developmental Psychology minors may enroll on the second pass. Any sophomore/junior/senior may enroll beginning September 15, 2026, space permitting. You must attend the discussion section in which you are enrolled.
The limit applies to the earlier enrollment pass. Dibs still counts this class as one you can take, because it opens up, but on first pass it may not be yours yet. This class is also Cognitive Science, Psychobiology, or Psychology Premajors., and Linguistics and Psychology Majors, or Cognitive Science, Psychobiology, or Psychology Majors or Premajors or Applied Developmental Psychology Minors, and New Transfers Only, and Sophomores and Above, which the pass does not lift.

What students say
Dibs measures outcomes: grades, seats, how fast it fills. For what the class is actually like to sit in, BruinWalk has the reviews.
Enrollment over time
A dot is a reading where something moved: the seat count, the status, or the waitlist. The last one is the most recent sweep, moved or not. The line holds flat between dots because that is what the readings say: it did not drift, it held and then jumped. The ticks along the bottom are the hours Dibs recorded reading this section, which is how a flat run says "checked, unchanged" rather than "nobody looked". It only keeps those from 25 August, so the ruler is shorter than the line for now. Both start when Dibs did rather than reaching back before it existed.
