Seats are held for entering students who enroll through New Student Orientation sessions beginning July 2, 2026. New student restrictions will be lifted on September 15, 2026 at 8 a.m. Enrollment is limited to Public Affairs pre-majors and majors on the priority and first enrollment passes. Public Affairs pre-majors and majors and Gerontology, Public Affairs, and Urban and Regional Studies minors may enroll on the second pass, space permitting. Any student may enroll beginning September 15, 2026, space permitting. No discussion section meets during Week 0. To request a PTE number students must submit the PTE Request Form at https://sa.ucla.edu/forms/p/woBw3. Do not contact the instructor to request a PTE number.
The new-student hold ended on 15 September. This class is also Undergraduate Students Only, which the end of the new-student hold does not lift.
