Selected Music Industry courses are limited to department majors and minors on the first enrollment pass. Restrictions may be lifted after the start of the second pass. Non-Music Industry students seeking to enroll should attend the first course meeting to request PTE. Unless by instructor consent, no PTEs are issued before the start of the quarter. Seats are held for entering students who enroll through New Student Orientation sessions beginning July 2, 2026. New student restrictions will be lifted on September 15, 2026 at 8 a.m.
The limit applies to the earlier enrollment pass. Dibs still counts this class as one you can take, because it opens up, but on first pass it may not be yours yet. This class is also Juniors and Above, and Music Industry Majors or Minors or Music History and Industry Majors Only, which the pass does not lift.
