All entering Musicology majors must take the Music Theory Placement Examination to be given online. Refer to e-mail from the school for instructions. Seats are held for entering students who enroll through New Student Orientation sessions beginning July 2, 2026. New student restrictions will be lifted on September 15, 2026 at 8 a.m.
Held for entering students enrolling through orientation until 15 September. If that is you, the seats are yours now. If not, that date lifts the new-student hold only: this class is also Ethnomusicology, Global Jazz Studies, Music, Musicology, Mu Sic Compostion, Music Education, Music History and Industry, Music Industry, or Music Performance Majors, and New Transfers Only, which it does not lift.
