From the registrar limited by standing

Conflicts between examinations and activities in other courses cannot be accommodated, so avoid conflicts when enrolling. Due to the curriculum of this course, enrollment will be closed by 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 9, 2026. Late enrollment is rarely granted and requires instructor approval. PTE numbers are NOT available; do not contact the instructor or the Life Sciences Core Office for a PTE number. The department will not facilitate section switches between students; students should enroll in a section only if they can attend all quarter. Seats are held for entering students who enroll through New Student Orientation sessions beginning July 2, 2026. New student restrictions will be lifted on September 15, 2026 at 8 a.m. Laboratory sections the first week are held on Zoom. In-person attendance in the laboratory section in which you are enrolled is required beginning in the second week. The final examination will be held in person in the laboratory rooms during finals week. Students will be able to sign up for a final examination time slot during the quarter.

Held for entering students enrolling through orientation until 15 September. If that is you, the seats are yours now. If not, that date lifts the new-student hold only: this class is also New Transfers Only, which it does not lift.

What students say

Dibs measures outcomes: grades, seats, how fast it fills. For what the class is actually like to sit in, BruinWalk has the reviews.

Enrollment over time

A dot is a reading where something moved: the seat count, the status, or the waitlist. The last one is the most recent sweep, moved or not. The line holds flat between dots because that is what the readings say: it did not drift, it held and then jumped. The ticks along the bottom are the hours Dibs recorded reading this section, which is how a flat run says "checked, unchanged" rather than "nobody looked". It only keeps those from 25 August, so the ruler is shorter than the line for now. Both start when Dibs did rather than reaching back before it existed.
