Dibs does not read seat counts for graduate courses, so it cannot tell you when this one opens. Check the registrar.

Dibs does not track seats for graduate courses. UCLA's Schedule of Classes limits how much Dibs may read each hour, and covering the whole catalog would mean covering none of it well, so undergraduate courses get the requests. This figure is whatever was last read on 29 August and is not being kept up to date. Check the registrar.

Seat risk
Not computed: dibs does not read seat counts for graduate courses, so the fullness half of this would be a guess on a number it is not keeping up to date.

From the registrar limited early, then open

Ethnomusicology 68A through 68O, 91A through 91P, 91Z, and 168A through 168O are open to all students regardless of major; some restrictions may apply. Certain upper-division Ethnomusicology courses may be restricted to department majors and minors during the first enrollment pass. If applicable, these restrictions will be lifted at the start of the second pass. If enrollment restrictions are not lifted by the start of the second pass, contact the instructor to request a PTE number to enroll. Receiving a PTE is not guaranteed.

The limit applies to the earlier enrollment pass. Dibs still counts this class as one you can take, because it opens up, but on first pass it may not be yours yet. This class is also Instructor Consent, which the pass does not lift.

What students say

Dibs measures outcomes: grades, seats, how fast it fills. For what the class is actually like to sit in, BruinWalk has the reviews.

Enrollment over time

A dot is a reading where something moved: the seat count, the status, or the waitlist. The last one is the most recent sweep, moved or not. The line holds flat between dots because that is what the readings say: it did not drift, it held and then jumped. The ticks along the bottom are the hours Dibs recorded reading this section, which is how a flat run says "checked, unchanged" rather than "nobody looked". It only keeps those from 25 August, so the ruler is shorter than the line for now. Both start when Dibs did rather than reaching back before it existed.
