Watching is the one thing here that needs an account, because an alert needs somewhere to go. Everything else on this page works signed out.

Put this class on a board

A board is one quarter you are drafting, so it needs an account to live in. Signing in brings you straight back to this page, with this class still in front of you.

Before you can enroll

Registrar's Restrictions cell, read 39 hours ago: "Public Affairs Pre-Major, Public Affairs Major, Public Affairs Minor, Urban and Regional Studies Minor, Gerontology Minor, and Undergraduate Students Only".

From the registrar limited to

Enrollment is limited to Public Affairs pre-majors and majors on the priority and first enrollment passes. Public Affairs pre-majors and majors and Gerontology, Public Affairs, and Urban and Regional Studies minors may enroll on the second pass, space permitting. Any student may enroll beginning September 15, 2026, space permitting. To request a PTE number students must submit the PTE Request Form at https://sa.ucla.edu/forms/p/woBw3. Do not contact the instructor to request a PTE number.

The limit eases on a later pass rather than coming off: the note names who may enroll then, and it is not everyone. The registrar writes it as “Public Affairs pre-majors and majors and Gerontology, Public Affairs, and Urban and Regional Studies minors may enroll on the second pass, space permitting.” Any student may enroll from 15 September. dibs still counts this class as one you can take, because it cannot tell whether you are in that group. This class is also Public Affairs Pre-Major, Public Affairs Major, Public Affairs Minor, Urban and Regional Studies Minor, Gerontology Minor, and Undergraduate Students Only, which the pass does not lift.

Restrictions read 39 hours ago. dibs re-reads these slowly because they rarely change; watch the section and it moves to every 6 hours.

What students say

dibs measures outcomes: grades, seats, how fast it fills. For what the class is actually like to sit in, BruinWalk has the reviews.

dibs has not read this course’s reviews, so it cannot say what kind of work it sets. That is dibs not having looked. It is not a course without papers or exams, and the reviews linked below are the answer until dibs catches up.

A dot is a reading where something moved: the seat count, the status, or the waitlist. The last one is the last time dibs read this section, moved or not: 36 minutes ago. The line holds flat between dots because that is what the readings say: it did not drift, it held and then jumped. The ticks along the bottom are the hours dibs recorded reading this section, which is how a flat run says "checked, unchanged" rather than "nobody looked". It only keeps those from 25 August, so the ruler is shorter than the line for now. Both start when dibs did rather than reaching back before it existed.
