Seminar, three hours; fieldwork, two hours. Service learning course that examines variable topics related to theory and practice of community-based research. Service learning component includes meaningful work with community partners selected in advance by instructor and Center for Community Learning. May be repeated for credit with topic or instructor change. Letter grading.
