From the registrar's catalog
(Same as Portuguese M142C.) Lecture, four hours. Taught in English. Exploration of travel, memory, and narrative in Portuguese-speaking world. Primary and secondary texts depict issues of displacement, cultural contact, and assimilation. Overview of connections among Portuguese-speaking cultures. May be repeated for credit with topic change. P/NP or letter grading.
