The registrar's own records: 809 grades over 8 terms, Fall 2021 to Fall 2025. Every instructor is pooled here.

What is inside that record

1 of those terms is a summer session, and summer sessions are counted here.

The table below splits them, and term averages across those 8 terms ran 3.32 to 3.95.

Historical grades for all professors, across recorded terms. The course summary above includes all professors.

  • A+ 284 · 35.1%
  • A 181 · 22.4%
  • A- 123 · 15.2%
  • B+ 83 · 10.3%
  • B 53 · 6.6%
  • B- 28 · 3.5%
  • C+ 9 · 1.1%

  • C- 12 · 1.5%
  • D+ 2 · 0.2%
  • D 4 · 0.5%
  • D- 1 · 0.1%
  • F 12 · 1.5%
  • P 1 of 817
  • NP 1 of 817
  • I 6 of 817

Percentages are of the 809 letter grades. Grey bars are non-letter outcomes: passes (P), no-passes (NP), and incompletes (I).

How the non-letter outcomes are counted

They are excluded from the GPA entirely rather than scored, because counting a P as a 4.0 would be a fabrication.

By instructor

Predicted GPA, raw average, sample size, terms, A range and the workload reviewers reported for every instructor with a grade record in this course
Instructor Predicted GPA Raw n Terms A range Workload Winter 2027
PEREZ, EFREN OSVALDO reviews ↗ 3.77 3.78 441 4 87% very light not teaching it
BAYLOR, CHRISTOPHER ANDREW reviews ↗ 3.35 3.34 334 3 53% light not teaching it
ALHAMBRA, RAMONA reviews ↗ 3.63 3.65 34 1 79% - not teaching it
Why Predicted is not the Raw average

“Predicted” is shrunk toward the course average, which is itself shrunk toward the department, so an instructor with a handful of students sits near the course mean rather than topping the list.

Grade records describe outcomes. For what a course is like to take, read student reviews written on dibs below or follow the separate external review link.
