Grades

Graded S/U, so there is no average to report.

Graded S/U: 252 records over 5 terms.

In the A range

-

no letter grades in the record to count

D, F or W

-

no letter grades in the record to count

Taken pass/no pass

-

this course is graded S/U, not pass/no pass

The registrar's own records: Fall 2021 to Fall 2025. Every instructor is pooled here.

What is inside that record

No summer session is in that record.

The table below splits them.

Historical grades for all professors, across recorded terms. The course summary above includes all professors.

  • S 245 of 271
  • U 7 of 271
  • I 19 of 271

Counts are out of 271 recorded outcomes. These are non-letter grades and do not have a GPA.

How the non-letter outcomes are counted

They are excluded from the GPA entirely rather than scored, because counting a P as a 4.0 would be a fabrication.

By instructor

Predicted GPA, raw average, sample size, terms, A range and the workload reviewers reported for every instructor with a grade record in this course
Instructor Predicted GPA Raw n Terms A range Workload Winter 2027
IYER, SUBRAMANIAN SRIKANTESWARA reviews ↗ S/U 54 S/U 1 - - not teaching it
YANG, CHIH-KONG KEN reviews ↗ S/U 174 S/U 4 - - not teaching it
JARRAHI, MONA reviews ↗ S/U 24 S/U 1 - - not teaching it
MORAG, EILAM reviews ↗ S/U 24 S/U 1 - - not teaching it
Why Predicted is not the Raw average

“Predicted” is shrunk toward the course average, which is itself shrunk toward the department, so an instructor with a handful of students sits near the course mean rather than topping the list.

Grade records describe outcomes. For what a course is like to take, read student reviews written on dibs below or follow the separate external review link.
