You are looking at Spring 2027. Enrollment for it has not opened, so these are the registrar's early listings. dibs holds 1,870 sections for Spring 2027, read 23 hours ago. Terms nobody is enrolling in are swept one a night in rotation, so a course with nothing here may simply not have been reached yet. Back to Fall 2026

The registrar's own records: 98 grades over 2 terms, Fall 2021 to Fall 2025, summer excluded. Every instructor is pooled here. The table below splits them, and term averages across those 2 terms ran 3.72 to 3.87.

  • A+ 17 · 17.3%
  • A 56 · 57.1%
  • A- 16 · 16.3%
  • B+ 1 · 1.0%
  • B 2 · 2.0%
  • B- 1 · 1.0%
  • C+ 1 · 1.0%
  • C 1 · 1.0%
  • D 1 · 1.0%
  • F 2 · 2.0%
  • P 1 of 99

Percentages are of the 98 letter grades. Grey bars are non-letter outcomes: passes (P). They are excluded from the GPA entirely rather than scored, because counting a P as a 4.0 would be a fabrication.

By instructor

Predicted GPA, raw average, sample size, terms, A range and the workload reviewers reported for every instructor with a grade record in this course
Instructor Predicted GPA Raw n Terms A range Workload Spring 2027
DICKEY, STEPHEN J reviews ↗ 3.72 3.72 71 1 89% very light not teaching it
PRADHAN, PRERNA reviews ↗ 3.83 3.87 27 1 96% - not teaching it

“Predicted” is shrunk toward the course average, which is itself shrunk toward the department, so an instructor with a handful of students sits near the course mean rather than topping the list.

dibs measures outcomes: grades, seats, how fast a class fills. For what a class is like to sit in, BruinWalk has the reviews.

What comes first

dibs has not read a class page for ENGL 91B, so it cannot say what comes before it.

Counted in courses rather than quarters: dibs does not know which of them a department lets you take together.

In Springs

Has not run in Spring in the 3 Springs dibs holds records for, back to Winter 2023. That is 3 years of grade records rather than the course catalog, so it says what has happened and not what the department will do next.

From the terms dibs holds, which start in Fall 2021 and exclude summer. A department can run a course in a quarter it never has before.

From the registrar's catalog

Lecture, three hours; discussion, one hour. Enforced requisite: satisfaction of Entry-Level Writing requirement. Examination of representative plays; readings may range from Greek to modern drama. Emphasis on critical approaches to dramatic text; study of issues such as plot construction, characterization, special uses of language in drama, methods of evaluation. P/NP or letter grading.
