You are looking at Spring 2026. That term is over, so these are last term's numbers rather than seats you can take. dibs holds 21 sections for Spring 2026, read 27 days ago. Separately, it has finished 15 of the 3,572 courses on its current checking list for this term. Future-term coverage is incomplete, so a course with nothing here may simply not have been reached yet. Grades

Graded S/U, so there is no average to report.

In the A range

D, F or W

-

no letter grades in the record to count

Taken pass/no pass

-

this course is graded S/U, not pass/no pass

The registrar's own records: Fall 2021 to Fall 2025. Every instructor is pooled here.

What is inside that record

No summer session is in that record.

The table below splits them.

Historical grades for all professors, across recorded terms. The course summary above includes all professors.

  • S 224 of 227
  • U 1 of 227
  • I 2 of 227

Counts are out of 227 recorded outcomes. These are non-letter grades and do not have a GPA.

How the non-letter outcomes are counted

They are excluded from the GPA entirely rather than scored, because counting a P as a 4.0 would be a fabrication.

By instructor

Predicted GPA, raw average, sample size, terms, A range and the workload reviewers reported for every instructor with a grade record in this course
Instructor Predicted GPA Raw n Terms A range Workload Spring 2026
MARLIER, MIRIAM ELIZABETH reviews ↗ S/U 98 S/U 2 - - not teaching it
TSAI, CANDACE SJ reviews ↗ S/U 52 S/U 1 - - not teaching it
JONES, RACHAEL MARY reviews ↗ S/U 173 S/U 4 - - not teaching it
ZHU, YIFANG reviews ↗ S/U 30 S/U 1 - - not teaching it
Why Predicted is not the Raw average

“Predicted” is shrunk toward the course average, which is itself shrunk toward the department, so an instructor with a handful of students sits near the course mean rather than topping the list.

Grade records describe outcomes. For what a course is like to take, read student reviews written on dibs below or follow the separate external review link.

In Springs

Has not run in Spring in the 4 Springs dibs holds records for, back to Fall 2021. That is 4 years of grade records rather than the course catalog, so it says what has happened and not what the department will do next.

From the terms dibs holds, which start in Fall 2021 and exclude summer. A department can run a course in a quarter it never has before.

From the registrar's catalog

Seminar, two hours. Required of graduate environmental health sciences students for one term each year. Current topics in environmental health in science, policy, and leadership. Speakers who are leading thinkers at interface of health and environment address important subjects of environmental health. May be repeated for credit. S/U grading.
