For all undergraduate African American studies courses except African American Studies M5, enrollment is limited to African American Studies majors and minors on the priority and first enrollment passes. Seats are held for entering students who enroll through New Student Orientation sessions beginning July 2, 2026. New student restrictions will be lifted on September 15, 2026 at 8 a.m.
Held for entering students enrolling through orientation until 15 September. If that is you, the seats are yours now. If not, that date lifts the new-student hold only: this class is also African American Studies Majors or Minors, which it does not lift.
