All World Arts and Cultures/Dance courses are limited to departmental majors until the end of the second pass. At that time, enrollment in selected courses will be opened to non-majors, space permitting. Dance 56 thru 65 (intermediate movement courses), C106A thru C115 (advanced movement courses), and C406A thru C415 (advanced graduate movement courses) are by instructor consent. Placement class on first day determines enrollment by PTE. Seats are held for entering students who enroll through New Student Orientation sessions beginning July 2, 2026. New student restrictions will be lifted on September 15, 2026 at 8 a.m.
The limit applies to the earlier enrollment pass. Dibs still counts this class as one you can take, because it opens up, but on first pass it may not be yours yet. This class is also Choreographic Inquiry, Culture and Performance, Dance, or W Orld Arts and Cultures Majors, and New Students Only, which the pass does not lift.
