Studio, six hours; outside study, six hours. Introduction and integration of design tools and digital technologies for application to visual thinking and fundamentals of design. Exploration of aesthetics and fundamentals of motion and application to design and media arts through introduction of basic concepts and tools for design of moving images. Includes discussions, student presentations, critique, software tutorials, and studio time for project development. P/NP or letter grading.
